if you are an iPhone user (and i believe there is a mac version, not sure on PC versions) grab an app called Quiztones and start using it to practice recognizing frequency by ear. That’s the only way you will learn to do this without sight, and you could eventually end up being more accurate than the sighted people who eq with their eyes looking at the graph showing frequencies.
