That is indeed worth investigating.

Just as an aside, I did another comparison with elastique and radius for 
really pushing the envelope for pitch and time stretching.

Radius sonar still gets the nod, for best quality, I went a whole octave up 
and kept the time the same.

But for smaller changes
and ease of use, reaper gets the nod.
and the quality won't be noticed when not asking so much.

also takes a long time to process with sonar.
