Hi & Greetings from a rapidly approaching winter Down Under...

I do not know if this has any bearing on what this discussion is about, but 
follow below:

Go to:

Options / Preferences / Editing Behaviour / Automation

There is a Parameter here entitled:

When adding Volume Pan Envelopes, apply Trim to Envelope and Reset Trim

This Parameter has a DropDownListBox with the options:

Always
In Read / Write
Never

The Default is 'Always'...

so mayhap this may be something to investigate...

Or I could be totally on the wrong track... it has been known to happen

I have a good Soundcard in my old PC, but it is damaged.
What kind of soundcard is for us good to work with?
I think about to buy the firewire thing from Yamaha and plu it into the
Motif.
If You have a better idea that will be fine.
