Tell glass half full to anyone who's stuck in 3.78 for a legitimate
reason and see how it goes down. That situation is happening now for
some people, depending on their hardware and usage. I love Reaper,
it's the only DAW I've felt comfortable enough in to switch away from
Pro Tools, I intend to use it as much as I can for as long as I can,
but see little point in denying that there's a problem sneaking up on
us here. If someone with the time and skills to start a fresh doesn't
pop up, in a couple years time you're gonna be in a worse situation
than the Sonar folks you were just bashing are in right now. Glass
half full will only take you and the rest of us so far, valuable as
that progress may be.
