let's try another virtual MIDI driver which is 64-bit. Its name is Loopbe1

Please, replace your old driver with this one.
It might be useful to connect your Yamaha to Reaper track with VSTI without QWS and to play a little bit before accusing the PC hardware.
Please, let me know wat goes on after these experiments.
