There is plenty that QWS does with midi which Reaper is just not good 
at, especially if you can't see the screen. I really doubt QWS has 
anything at all to do with his problems. Stuff like that usually comes 
from bad drivers. You could probably analyze your system's minidump for 
the last few instructions to figure that out if you're smarter than me. 
If the machine isn't going BSOD, it could be something at a lower level.
