[RWP] latency in reaper

behringer's even got ribbon mics out now.
no idea how they sound, or their reliability, but if it's like anything else 
from behringer, it'll be as reliable as anything else.
Ribbon mikes have come down in price allot because you can buy cheaper ones 
now.  You are no longer forced into the royers of this world and dishing out 
a few thousand bucks for a mike.  Granted, they are some of the best 
sounding microphones on the plannet...but for most of us, I think, we want 
something that sounds good, and that will accurately represent and capture 
the tsound source.
Apex has some ribbons out as do several other companies for under 150 bucks.
It's the golden age of gear we're living in and so the competition is fearce 
in the market.
That translates into lower prices for technology or items that previously 
cost much more.
