Mat, I just opened Reaper x64 with NVDA; inserted a blank track; pressed
F while that track was selected, which opens the load dialog for effects.
I selected ReaComp and pressed enter on it, and it loaded.
Tabbing down I could hear the various parameters, with check boxes or
value fields at the arrow keys.
Values that say Nth DB are the bottom of the value list; arrow up to
increase value.
You get some titles at the tab key that are not showing all; ; arrow
right to get more parameters.
3 tabs below the name of the effect List 1; ReaComp you have that combo
box that refuses to display the preset list.
Tabbing down; you hear: 1 List 1; 2Edit Multi..; 3 dot dot dot button;
then the combo box.
Yes, it's the same moves as for Jaws; press ctrl+up arrow; then PageDown
and the combo box fills with preset names.
Because you have pressed PageDown, you are at the bottom of the preset
list, so arrow up through the list.
It's all very much like being in either Window-Eyes or Jaws.
Remember to press F from track view if you accidentally exit that FX
Chaining view where the parameters are displayed at the tab and arrows
In track view, to return to the effects view, it's essential that you
are arrowed to the track with the effects when you press F.
