[RWP] autotuning in reaper?

I think I've seen enough evidence that those who are willing to forge an
individual course and support programmers can do pretty well.
Those who want it all for free can go fly a kite.
These same folks will buy an iphone, or cigarettes, but want your time and
energy for free.
But yes, I see your point,
if we had more consolidation on a single thing for our needs it'd be good.

Choice is the key with the current state of affairs, which is great, but too
fragmented just now. Free is sweet at the current level of use, but
somewhere down the line that free gravy train is going to dry up. Paying a
programmer is OK if the solution is globally compatible and the person who's
shelled out is willing to share. The bigger it gets, demands on support and
solutions for programs etc will grow..so who's going to invest the time,
money etc at this point?
Yep, individuals will pop up, all with their own agendas teaching others for
a bit of cash, but I think it's unrealistic to think at the moment a
professional is going to bridge a solution gap for a couple of hundred, it
isn't going tohappen for a wider user base, maybe for an individual that's
all. Also, bear in mind how many users look at accessibility. Lots just
will not pay, that's the bottom line. So, you'll be left with a handful of
people who invest, a majority that will ride the back of that investment if
it's free, if it's not, the solution won't go anywhere...and the people who
invested eventually get pissed off and pack it in...wonderful scennario?
Don't get me wrong, I use NVDA, I'm learning AHK and I want the community to
feel satisfied with what they have, but some are just gona have to be more
proactive in their actions and support, not just in what they say. Cheers
Steve.

I think, unless I'm mistaken; that the Australian group that writes NVDA
is deserving and hopeful of getting recompense for their effort; and if
they write a more useful product; f blank blank k the for profit
companies that wrote the more awkward screenreaders we once used.
Let Survival of the fittest prevail.
