[RWP] Routing Tracks to master track

Thanks Patrick, that's exactly what i needed to know.

If reaper can't do automation like every other daw can without a control
surface, then it's a real show stopper for me.

Simple snapshots have been a time honored thing since way back in the days
of the old vcf systems saving scenes on to floppies.

And controler surfaces a re great as far as they go, but people seem to
spend more time fiddling with control surfaces
than they do using them, unless you use them for just a set range of
functions and then leave it alone.

This is true even in the sighted world, I've had long conversations with Jim
Roseberry my daw builder on this and he says, man sometimes it's just easier
to mouse it.

Also being able to precisely place automation is important long fades and
such are great for faders, also for doing multiple moves on different
channels at once, but I tend to work on one source at a time, and being able
to stop that transport and precisely place a move is a real plus for me,
getting in between words, changing eq in just the right spot,
and you'd never get it with a surface, or not as fast, and you wouldn't be
able to precisely measure how far up or down you went, but from the
keyboard, I know for damned sure I dropped it 3 db or raised it 6 db or what
have you.

But different strokes for different folks, I do use faders sometimes, but I
tend to just midi learn and borrow them from the handy midi controler and
then they can go away qwhen I'm done.

But having global automation and also per control automation features all
over my daw's interface is just something I'm so used to I don't know if I
could live without it.

Anyway, pontification over,
back to your regularly scheduled reaper madness.
