[RWP] Has Anyone Tried Fingers Groove Tool?

You can change to measures and beats in project mode, but That
doesn't change limit recording length, which still shows hours,
minutes and seconds.
I still hope to find a setting in actions list to change that.
Action number 3179 ctrl+enter Show Midi Editor is broken now, so we
could change the shortcut to unknown and use that shortcut for something
else.
Good riddance to that ctrl+enter editor, anyway, the midi editor brought
up with ctrl+alt+E is so much more complete; showing every event at the
note's position on the timeline.
Action 402, Set Item Timebase to Beats/Position/lengthwill be handy for
me, since; even though; in Project Settings; I have set timebase for
items/envelopes/markers to beats/position/length; it is still set to
minutes/seconds in item properties.
If I'm looping an item; I want to trim it to an exact length in
measures, so I first go to item properties, then I need to set length to
beats, set an even number of beats, and apply the setting.
Then I can go to item properties for that selected item and multiply
that length by any number, which causes the item to loop again and
again, same as pasteing it onto the timeline again and again.
Action 621 Item Remove Content Trim Behind Item; I think should help
when I want to split an item and discard everything to the right of that
item split point.
Somewhere in the action list I thought I found one to trim silence off
the end of an item.
Maybe I was dreaming, but that would be so handy.
It's in Sound Forge, even in GoldWave.
the autoTrim in GoldWave is a blessing to trim silence off either
beginning or end, or both.

You're ahead of me, on ReaScriptbut I notice that one of the topics when
you press ctrl+P for preferences is ReaScript, so we can tab down with
that topic and learn what we can.
google with the words Wiki..ReaScript.
The wikis are great, right on topic; and way easier to understand than
the user guide.
