[RWP] Has Anyone Tried Fingers Groove Tool?

I think it's exactly like cakewalk's Groove Quantize.
I've heard it used, maybe from FL Studio or Logic; to impart some kind
of cyncopation or Latin style shuffle, something like that.
There was a bunch of agitation in the Cockos forums for it for a couple
of years, then Standing Waters Studios did it.
That's why I say if we can express what it is we want for access;
instead of a nameless vacuum that the developers can't get a handle
onto; we could get it by going through the standard process; to put it
on the desired feature list in the forum for specifically created to
request features.
You go there and vote for a desired feature.
Eventually it gets done.
The words More access is not gonna do the trick; it needs to be specific.
I just looked through all 3000 od actions, and all of the actions in the
ReaAccess control panel are there, even F12 learning mode.
Those are not some kind of mysterious Python language; they're just
custom actions done with regular Reaper tools; with either JS or ReaScript.
I read a forum post from a guy asking how to make a custom action script
to quantize all notes to position in a selected item.
Once he clearly stated what he wanted, one poster said he would submit
it to the JS/ReaScript group; then a second poster said don't bother,
there's already a SWS extension that quantizes notes to position with a
shortcut, without bringing up the regular quantize dialog.
I immediately went to www.standingwatersstudios.com and downloaded the
installer, so I could begin using that quantize shortcut.
That's where I noticed the groove quantize tool.
A huge amount of access is already done; just waiting for us to use it.

Sometimes the string of actions is not so elegant, but still workable.
Like I want to record perfect 2 or 4measure loops; so I don't need to
trim them afterwards so they loop seamlessly.
Sonar, Logic, whatever might have a way to limit recording length to X
measures; , but in Reaper you can limit recording length, but it's only
expressed in hours, minutes, seconds.
It never totals perfectly to 2 or 4 measures, I tried without success.
But, you create an action macro, like this:
Set the armed track to Automation touch.
The metronome will tick away until you touch a key on your midi keyboard.
Immediately after a key is touched; the timeline jumps back to 00 and
recording begins.
The next action is Wait X number of seconds to perform next action.
I'll need to time that one for 2 or 4 measures.
Awkward, yeah, but it'll work.
The final action is Start/Stop at end of measure.
It's a simple example, now I need to learn how to string those couple of
actions together with a Reaper macro.
I'll bet all those custom actions Ivan made that begin with Say; that
tell us swhere the cursor is located, etcetera; from about 1051 to 1066;
wouldn't be all that difficult to copy the structure of; just
substituting different values to point to.
I haven't found the right term yet, but there must be a template of
some kind that could bundle additional custom actions; with their
assigned shortcuts; that could maybe load along with ReaAccess.
