[RWP] considering purchasing the behringer BCF2000 control surface, but have a few questions

In Reaper with ReaAccess, we get two views; the tracck with the tracks 
displayed, and if you select a track containing a plugIn with UP/down 
arrows; then press F you go to the Effects routing view.
There you can load effects and change parameters or settings on the effects.
If you tab while in Effects routing you will get the word Param.
Now, if I press enter on Param I only get an edit box to write in 
comments on parameters, but if I route to the number pad and click on 
Param there it brings up lists of parameters for the selected effects or 
synth plugIn, that's loaded.
Explore in there and you'll find midi learn and other features.
There's another place In Reaper you can get at parameters of effects or 
synth plugIns.
In Effects routing view; press Escape to go to track view; press shift+P 
and you'll get a list of tweakable and automatable parameters for the 
selected plugIn.
Arrow to a  parameter; tab down to its values which you can change with 
the arrow keys; also with the home and end keys, also with page up and 
page down, or by typing in values.
To save changes in values; tab up to OK and press enter.
Press Escape to return to track view without  permanently altering values.
