[RWP] What's the current state of n I kontact accessibility with hsc and ahk?

I took Gianluca's AHK scripts for a quick spin earlier with Kontakt 5
on my usual Reaper x64, Win7, NVDA. Overall, really useful. I was able
to load up a few instruments, point one of them at the right directory
to find its samples and resave it. There are a few other commands
available that I haven't explored yet, just did what I needed to do
earlier on and cracked on with the job at hand as I was pressed for
time. Sometimes, it took a couple of attempts to get the AHK
keystrokes to find their intended target, but it wasn't a huge
frustration. It's also worth noting that on my system, if I switched
out of the fx window midway through a workflow that I was relying on
the scripts for, I had to do some mousing around to get focus back. I
guess it's fair to say that there's still a bit of jiggery-pokery
involved, but whatever, it's progress IMO.
I haven't compared these side by side to the free HSC sets thanks to
my JAWS installation being put through the ringer. I'll give it a go
next time I need to use Kontakt assuming FS have figured out a
solution by then, this is the weirdest case of JAWS getting its
knickers in a knot that I've ever seen. Would be good to hear from
anyone who's already tried the HSC approach in the meantime.
Anyway, for any non JAWS users who were teetering on the edge of
donating and waiting for someone else to take the leap, I leaped and
lived to tell the tale.
