[RWP] What's the current state of n I kontact accessibility with hsc and ahk?

I just went through one of those self-frustration things over Native
Instruments Maschine, hoping against hope that the Maschine hardware
controller had enough dedicated buttons and shortcuts so that I could
run it with the hardware controller alone.
The associated software is all bit map, as usual for Native Instruments.
I found some video tutorials, with a very competant sighted dude
absolutely depending on his screen to navigate the menus.
The manufacturer always tries to make running the gear sound so easy,
but you know that's just a sales pitch, and there are plenty of
instances where there's no shortcut or dedicated controller key for an
action.
So, I came to reality and gave up the idea of running Maschine, even
though it comes with thousands of stunning NI loops and samples, and you
can combine them into songs in a few minutes, instead of the hours.
it requires doing it with just a daw.
Afterwards I ran into a $49 VST that simulates a 16 pad sample player,
and all its menus are accessible from screen graphics, unfortunately not
labeled, but it can do anything that Maschine or an Akai MPC does.
I'm going to try to get the author to provide it with tool tips and
screen labels before frustrating anyone here with it, but it looks
promising.
I could assign it's onscreen pads to my old M-Audio Trigger finger; and
I'd have a sample assembler very close to NI's Maschine; unfortunately
lacking those thousands of gorgeous NI loops and samples that come with
Maschine.
