[RWP] AutoHotKey A Few HotSpots

Hi David,
I didn't use sighted assistance to find that extended recording options,
I probably read about it on this list, and now used Roy Shtupler's fix
for forcing it to display when you press the applications key in track view.
In Reaper 3x a press of the applications key dropped that menu, which,
when you arrow down once, says Monitor Item.
Version 4 broke that, so you get an announcement; something like no
handle found; when you press the applications key.
So, now you press ctrl+up arrow; or, in my case; ctrl+up arrow twice,
then that menu displays when you press the applications key.
It's an important menu, where you select to record in stereo, or to
record a midi track, and a long list of other choices for recording.
I'm used to employing Roy's fix, but others may prefer using your
coordinates for an AHK shortcut.
By the way, sighted Reaper users right click their mouse on the track's
record arm icon; to display that same menu., if you want to get
Elizabeth to try that.
I only learned that recently from my son, who is learning to use Reaper.
I tell him how something needs to be done, but he's a hopeless mouse
addict, so has to translate my keyboard shortcuts into mouse clicks on
screen buttons.
Because I'm interested in consciousness, it's interesting to me to note
how dazzled he was at first by the absolutely crammed Reaper screen, but
now he is able to pick text and icons out of the screen confusion easier
and easier.
With Wineyes, which has excellent off screen modeling, I always examine
screens at the numPad, so I'm sometimes able to tell him where to look
on the screen for a button, but, unfortunately, Wineyes and Jaws often
rearrange screens so they don't perfectly resemble what a sighted user sees.
Oh well, any way we can get it done will get the music made, and that's
the goal.
Thanks,
Indi
