[RWP] Issues with adding effects and selection

Hi Crystal & Greetings from Down Under

With regards your first problem, if you want to nudge stuff in your trax, 
after you have Selected your Trak, yu must then Select the Item you wish to 
Nudge , Move or whatever....

To do this.... scroll thru the Time Line with your Left & Right Arrow keys 
until you are roughly where the Item in your Selected Trak starts....

Press Shift plus A to Select the Item, then either use the Nudge Dialog Box 
which if I recall is in the View Menu, or use the Nudge keys... apologies I 
cannot remember which ones these are, but you can turn on Teaching mode with 
F12. or you can use Control F2 to bring up the Item Properties Dialog... the 
first parameter there is the position...

When it comes to Inserting FX,

Select the Trak on which you wish to insert the FX, press the F key which 
brings up the FX Dialog, and on my systme using System Access the Focus is 
always placed on the Filter Box but Back Tab here and the list will be shown 
for all your FX Plugs... scroll dwon till you find the one your require and 
Press Enter....

The FX Dialog Box for the FX that you just Selected will appear...

I am not sure what screen reader you use, but with System Access there are 
work around that I must do to get the Presets working, especially in the 
REAPER Plugs....

However, all is good in the end...

On pressing escape it will Close the FX Dialog Box, and just press F again 
to bing it back...

Then you can press Shift plus P to bring up the parameters that are 
available for the Plug... make sure you are still located on that Trak...

I've been having this reoccuring issue with Reaper, so I hope someone can 
help!

When I select a track to edit or move, it doesn't move at all.  I've
been trying to nudge to the left or right, and the track just stays in
the same spot.  I've been playing my music while doing this, and I'm
not sure if that's a factor?  I also can't figure out how adding
effects work:  I select a file, then go to the effects window while
the track is playing and mess with the DB values, and nothing happens.
  Right now I've just been exporting to Gold wave to add effects.

I also have another question:  Whenever I go to the help menu and
click on Ray access, it says my Ray access scripts are disabled and I
need to install a Python API, is that necessary to run Reaper and is
this why I keep on having so many issues with it?
