[RWP] Some questions

Let me renew my question...

I know what a VST instrument exactly does, that not the problem. But the XLN
support sent me those preset files to load and make the main presets
available. So he told me to load it in the DAW, so the main question is, how
I can manage this. Open VST instrument is no problem and works fine, e.g.
Addictive Drums. So now it's open and I have the graphical interface in
which I can change from Startup as the main preset to others like AD-Pack
Funk for example. As I understood him, there must be a way to load those
preset files within Reaper, but without the plugin interface itself.

A VST plugIn is a small program with presets in it.
Usually its presets only play within the plugIn.
Presets could be instruments, like guitar, trumpet, synthesizer sounds,
bass, whatever.
A VST plugIn will not run standAlone.
It needs a host.
Sonar, cubase, Reaper are hosts for VST plugIns.
