[RWP] Groove Boxes, was Original Music

Regarding Poise, I've been exchanging messages with Shannon, the developer.
He is very interested in making the product more accessible. It's usable
with the Jaws cursor since many of the options are accessible from right
clicks on the graphic.
I had a little sighted assistance to make a few HSC spots which move to a
pad and right click allowing me to paste a sample onto a pad...
Shannon is planning on downloading Jaws and possibly other screen readers to
see exactly how they respond. He is also making some changes now like
putting pad dependent features in the right click menu.
For me it is already worth the 50 bucks, but after some additional access
enhancements I think it will be a no brainer.

I think that's right, the simple way Reaper works is like a groove box in
many ways.
Yesterday, I found a groove box VST plug called CereDrum.
Do you know that one?
It's free, has a sequencer, 4 drum kits to choose among; plus a bass
synthesizer.
I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet, but I might get lucky and find
it to be in text.
Actually, my Casio XW-G1 keyboard is exactly like running a groove box; very
much like the old Roland MC-505 and MC-307 I had previously; but easier than
they were.
There is a 16 pad VST sample player called Poise; that was written by a long
time MPC user, that does most of what the Akai MPC does.
You can drag/drop or paste samples, loops, anything onto its 16 virtual
pads, and assign the pads to keyboard keys, hardware pads, whatever.
Unfortunately, its screen graphics are not labeled; otherwise it would be
easy to run.
CereDrum doesn't play samples; unless you can maybe substitute your own
samples for its onboard drum kits, but I'll post a link to CereDrum if it's
accessible.
