[RWP] Assigning faders with plugin parameters

I notice that when assigning a control under Param, I don't hear
confirmation that the controller has been assigned to the parameter;
like you get when assigning a control to an action.
You just trust Reaper; go to your tab key and press it to get to OK.
On the way tabbing down to OK you find a selection to set the control to
absolute, or 2 other relative settings.
The absolute setting is for a pot type control that doesn't rotate
continuously, but stops turning when you get to a certain angle, also
for a fader or slider.
The relative settings are intended for endless rotary controls.
The next tab down should be a checkbox for Soft TakeOver.
Put a checkmark on that with your spacebar, so your control won't cause
a jump in the parameter's value when you rotate the control.
Then tab down to OK and press enter.
You can now test the control and hear if it is assigned to the parameter.
I've never assigned pitchBend, except from a joystick, and remember that
on certain control surfaces the controls can't transmit pitchBend, but
don't know if that is a problem for the UC33 or not
Reaper's use of OSC should accept any control for any function
whatsoever, the manual seems to say.
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger hammer! smile.
