[RWP] how to do audio quantizing with reaper?

Grid is the term used in DAWS usually meaning on the  beat or measure.
So alligning your drum track to teh grid is essentially syncing it up
to the proper tempo  or beat/measure. Items is the individual clips of
audio on the tracks.  When  you import your drum tracks i it will
probably be one item on each track  You can play through the project
and  pause the  it at a place where you find something thats out of
sync. You can then press  the letter S to split the item on  the
selected  track. (Up and down arrows to move through the track list
and select a track.)  Every time you press the letter S you  create
another item on that track since you just created a split or break in
the item and its no longer  that one longfile. So create a split at
the start and end of the drum hit you want to move, then use the nudge
keyboard shortcut to nudge that hit forward or back on the timeline in
small ammounts till its falls where it needs to be in sync with the
tempo of the song. This is time consuming and there is no auto mated
fix that work with any good results. Thee is a reason why people who
do this work charge good money for it. IF you become good at it and
can start doing it quickly  you could be one of those people.

You can also select multiple  tracks and items  at once to speed up
the process depending on the drum tracks you are editing.

Shift+up or down arrow selects each track as u move to it leaving the
previous track selected.
Alt Left and Right arrows allow you to move through all clips or iTems
on a track.
Alt+Shift+left and right arrows allows you to move through items and
select the m as you go .

Once you have a group of tracks selected , you can use the nudge
commands to move all selected itmes on those tracks at the same time.
