Maybe try rendering your effects track and importing it back in, with
printed fx, and then use the editor.
I know I'm spoiled by sonar in this regard too.
But I do like the rewire aspect of reaper, I can have my soft synths in
sonar and have reaper running some audio tracks, or the other way around.
That gives me another idea, run reaper as a rewire device, freeze the track
to sonar and then export it in soundforge with the fx in place like you
want.
Why not have your cakewalk and eat it too.
and reaper the benefits.
I know bad joke ha ha.
