[RWP] help with looping in reaper

After specifying the area you want to loop; I'd cut it and paste it onto
another track.
Then I'd select it as an item; then go to item properties, tab down to
length; and specify lentth as beats.
Then tab up to the edit box and read the length of the area you want to
loop.
To loop nicely, it hopefully will be an even number of beats.
Like; if it's 4.00 beats; you get the same effect as stretching the loop
with the mouse by multiplying the original loop lentth.
For instance, if you typed in a new length of 480.00 beats, the loop
would repeat 12 times.
Just type in a new multiple representing the number of times you want
the loop to repeat.
After typing in the new loop length, tab down to apply and okay and hit
enter.
In reaper, this method; or stretching the apparent loop length with the
mouse, isn't actually placing the original loop again and again onto the
time line; it is just repeating play of the original loop length.
