[RWP] Possible keyboard for power users

Oh I see what you mean, with a USB qwerty keyboard assigned as a reaper
joystick device.
You could do that, but you'd have to rewrite the default.txt script that
assigns what the buttons do on the device that's plugged in, and I don't
think it's currently written to assign 101 or more buttons.
I wouldn't bring in another keyboard through the joystick assignment
feature, just plug the second keyboard into a USB port.
I've never had any problem in windows with 2 keyboards plugged in.
I've had 2 USB keyboards, 1 USB and 1 PS2, any combination.
I'll give the experiment a try, with 1 USB keyboard set to the standard
ascii set and another set to the extended ascii set.
I don't think windows cares, you can run up to 128 USB devices
simultaneously; and windows tries to scan each of them.
I never experimented to learn what happens if you; say; hit an F on both
keyboards simultaneously.
I'll bet you get FF, because the scanning of each keyboard is very fast,
and you're not likely to actually hit the F on both keyboards at the
same exact instant.
If you did press the keys exactly simultaneously, I'll bet you'd only
get a single F.
Windows probably would accept only 1 of the same input from 2 sources.
