[RWP] Can it be; Things Seem to Run more Reliably on NVDA?

I can't face going back to Internet Explorer after so many years with
FireFox.
Last time I tried IE I couldn't even type into its search box.
The trouble is this is such a rare thing; FireFox causing a loss of
beeps in NVDA, there's no use to google for a fix.
We have some of the people who use that combination here, and none of us
apparently know what to do.
Mozilla won't know.
I just can't imagine any setting in FireFox that could cause such a change.
