Oh, ok, sorry. I misunderstood where you were when you pressed enter on
the file.
Yep, no problem. I'll check that out.
I think an OSC file is just a way to define the language you are going to
speak when you actualy do talk.
But, then, you also needa way to do the talking.
So, other applications can send messages to reaper, which are phrased using
this custom language you have defined.
So, through your OSC definition, you can define that jabberWocky means nudge
track 1 volume up, or whatever. The OSC file establishes that relationship.
Then, you can send 20 messages, each of which say JabberWocky, and reaper
will say, oh yeah, I know what he means, and perform the action 20 times,
and voila, one DB of volume change.
You can apparently send OSC messages to reaper over the network. And, I
presume there is also a way to do it locally within the same machine.
So, while I'm learning several new languages these days, what's one more.
So, I'm off to try to puzzle out OSC, and maybe get this damned studio Mix
operational yet.
Ok, I'm going to stop typing now, until I actually have something new and
useful to say.
