[RWP] OSC

Ok, Indigo, old buddy, Step up to the plate here and tell me what the heck 
I'm doing wrong, in trying to open the osc template in an editor, according 
to your recent posts.

I'm in the dialog entitled: Control Surface Settings, which I got to by 
going to control surfaces, in preferences,  selecting OSC, which I had added 
as a control surface.  I click the edit button, which opens this OSC 
settings dialog.
In here is where half the controls don't appear in the tab order.
One of them that does not appear is Pattern Config, which is a combo box 
containing, default, logic pad, and logic touch.  I select Default.
Your first post, from sighty  mousey land, said to click some control that I 
don't see at all.  Then, your second post, as I understood it,  said that 
you selected default and pressed enter, and that the template opened in a 
text editor.
No such thing happens here.  Pressing enter dismisses the dialog, back to 
preferences.  Double Left clicking does nothing obvious other than jjust 
selectin it.
Right click does nothing.

So,  spill the beans and set me straight , if you will, before I pull even 
more of my hair out..  Thanks.
(you too can prevent computer violance).
