Kevin, I just retried the MP3 file and I guess I must not have remembered to
press the home key to get to the beginning before. Anyway, it works fine

Scot are you using the mixer in the same room where the owner uses it on
their laptop with no isses? are you and the mixer plugged into teh same
power source when using it in that room as the owner? What computer dows the
owner have vs which computer do you have? What sample rate does the owner
usually run it at? I have used numerous fw interfaces on both an old circa
2007 MBP (the last one that had two fw ports 1 of each) and a 2011 iMac
with no issues. I did have an issue on sonar like that at one point in
time, but i think in that case it was a sample rae issue. I once had another
odd issue with sonar. When i recorded anything with high gain it came out
super distorted in sonar. but there was no clipping on the meters. The
issue went away when i stopped using sonar with zoomtext and started using
it with Jaws, so maybe the Assistive tech is at fault again here lol.
