[RWP] how does reaper save it's control surface assignments

Ah so reaper is better at remembering on the fly controler assignments than 
sonar is.

It's hit and miss with that beast.

Unless you have a dedicated  sanctioned controler protocol for it or 
actually mapped the generic surface.

Do you find that when you do a volume envelope or something like that on 
your surface that you have to ride the whole track to the end, or will it 
stay where you left it?

When we do it via the keyboard as soon as you quit writing, it jumps back to 
default settings.

That's un-acceptable.

Anyway, pros and cons to everything, and thanks for the info.
