[RWP] Automation

If those whiz wheels send anything at all, the OSC thing in Reaper can 
recognize it as midi.
I need to read up on exactly what OSC is, and how to utilize it., but it 
seems to use text, and turns almost anything a device transmits into 
useable midi.
It came as a feature fairly recently, in version 4 something.
I'm wondering if the little text file that sets what each button and 
joystick of a gamePad transmits is in OSC.
I'm going to try leaving all of the generic.txt file's syntax alone and 
substituting midi number this or  that; for note number whatever for the 
buttons
Does anyone know how to get a controller's buttons to scroll; whatever 
you call it when you stand on a button to increment/decrement quickly?
