Yesterday I got a USB game Pad from Radio Shack.
Okay, Radio Shack isn't what it once was;with only their own cheezy
crap; now they just sell other maker's stuff, decent quality sometimes.
It was only $19, a good value compared to similar models on Amazon; with
the quality and array of buttons, then there was a $10 off coupon, I
think because it's the last of the wired USB joysticks; all the kids
want wireless now.
So, maybe I'm a retro teen ager, who was deprived of enough game
playing, but this has 2 thumb operated joysticks, that also push down to
click to fire; plus 2 D-padswith 4 buttons each; plus 2 arrow buttons, a
tiny mystery button between joysticks, and 2 other buttons for each hand
in front.
These all seem more sturdy than the cheapest control surfaces, fit your
hands wonderfully; plus it has drivers internally and requires no
installed software.
Can't wait to learn what you can control and automate with Reaper's
joystick capability with a $9 game pad!
