hey all as the subject line sejests i'm experiencing some strange item editing behavia heres an example of the problem: 

on one track i have one item i go to the next track with another item on it that i want to edit then after performing any cut or copy or deletion operations on the item on the second track the item on the first track splits in to 2 items or shortens in length. does any one know what the problem could bee? could the snap to grid features be the source of my misery? your help with this problem would be most welcome! kind regards trahern.
