[RWP] OT: Midi programming

Alexander, Midi is Midi is Midi, or at least that's the purpose of the
midi design specification, i.e., to promote interchange from 1 program
to another. The problem arises when you're using an instrument that
goes "beyond" midi, i.e., in which more instruments are provided, etc.
But if u stick to the general midi spec, there should be no
difficulty.
I'm not certain that answers your question, but, if not, try
rephrasing it (I'm not altogether sure what you're asking, actually),
& I'll try to clarify my response.
