Hello Guys!

Sorry, I am not sure, if I chose the right subject for this, but I have
something that confuses me a bit.

Let's say I want to create a midi file, that I want to add as an item in
Reaper on a track, that has its midi channel and other settings, like
instrument. Now I want to create a midi with QWS to import it in Reaper.
There is some cool possibility I found searching the forums. If you let
Reaper create .mid files instead of internal items, you are able to open
QWS as default editor by pressing CTRL+Alt+E. So now I have the perfect
solution for adding midi in reaper and have a comfortable step recorder
in QWS. Okay, so now my question is, how do I create a midi file, that
is not bound to a channel and setting, like instrument, so that I can
easily import it to reaper? Or does it have no meaning, what settings
are saved in the midi, when I import it? Actually my opinion was, that
all data in a midi will be set up as well.
