Using the number pad cursor of Window-Eyes, which is about the same as
Jaws or PC cursor, the graphics in Poise respond to either left or right
clicks from the numPad, but none of the essential graphics have labels
or tool tips.
After clicking on those unlabeled graphics; standard speaking Microsoft
menus or dialogs open at the arrow keys; so you know what that graphic
you clicked on was for.
I've also discussed lack of labeling with Shannon, and hope he or
someone does something about it.
I may try to map Poise to my Novation Nocturn's buttons, but that's not
going to be a universal fix for everyone, which would be nice.
Poise is a VST plug version of the Akai MPC, or the Native Instruments
Maschine; so you can load any kind of loop or sample onto Poise's 16
virtual pads.
I thought I'd trigger Poise's virtual pads from my old M-Audio Trigger
Finger, which also has 16 rubber pads, and have the NI Maschine, without
the NI bit map software to deal with.
There are about 30 unlabeled graphics in Poise, which would be best if
provided with tool tips, which only Shannon could do. But, they could be
labeled in Auto Hot Key, then it would be universally accessible for all
screenreaders.
Poise only has the single screen, which doesn't change except when the
talking standard menus and dialogs display, then Poise returns to its
original single screen, so there is no problem to a programmer of
constantly changing screens in Poise.
