Indigo,

Thank you very much. You were spot on as usual. I managed to get to the load bank/patch dialogue this morning.

NVDA has been my primary screenreader for a while now, so you advised me well. Thank you.

I just now looked at Reaper 64bit using NVDA, and with a VST plug
inserted, in Reaper's FX chaining page, as you tab down you firsthear
List 1, with the name of the plug;
then MultiList;
then dot dot dot button;
then a line with parameters, or names of presets;
then the unlabeled button.
If you press the numberPad insert key and the numberPad enter, in NVDA
it pops up the Reaper Load/save bank/preset dialog, which you arrow
through, and can navigate to where the plug stores banks or presets
somewhere inside its folder.
Exactly where a particular plug stores its presets or banks depends on
the plug.
Sometimes there is a subfolder named banks, or a subfolder named presets.
As to how to get that unlabeled button you tab to in FX Chaining page to
display the bank/preset dialog in Jaws, I can't say, since I almost
always use NVDA now.

I just tried clicking enter on the unlabeled button, no reaction, tried
pressing the applications key for a right click, no reaction, tried
routing focus to the numberPad and pressing right click, no reaction,
also no reaction from routing to numberPad and left clicking.
When I pressed NVDA key plus numPad enter the dialog appeared immediately.
Using Jaws, just experiment to find a way to get the Bank/preset
Load/save dialog to appear at the arro keys.

I am learning so many moves in Reaper that work best in NVDA, with its
object navigation; I can't recommend it enough.
