[RWP] a serious newbie question

Hello listers, I'm a radio broadcasting student and am looking for a
DAW that is accessible for multitrack audio production, and gives me
the ability to edit single tracks in a multi track session. This is
known in other DAWS as the "clip view". I'm told reaper can do this,
but I can't for the life of me figure out where to get started. The
400 page user guide is too comprihensive and I haven't found any
documentation for ReaAccess at all. Can anyone recommend a good
starting point?
