[RWP] creating a new track in reaper

hello
whenever i creat a new track, the track is mono, and i always have to 
use jaws cursor to fight the left parren simble, and right click, and 
select the sterrio.
do u know a way to actually do this with a command or something?
because reaacess also doesn't work with reaper, when i press the 
application key it doesn't work.
this makes me very frustrated since i have to delete/readd tracks when 
i'm  creating something.
