[RWP] Copying items in Reaper to fill out track with same midi loop

Roy, simply selecting the midi item with ctrl+shift+right arrow; then
ctrl+C to copy to clipboard; then advancing to the end of the first
item, with page down; then pasting with ctrl+V; works perfectly to fill
the timeline with perfectly seamless repeating midi loops
If you go back and select, then copy and paste again, you now are
pasting 2 items per paste, if the actions are repeated again you now
paste 4 items per paste, etcetera.
I actually counted off the measures with page down to be certain, but I
believe, if you only have the 1 track to fill with loops, you could jump
to the correct paste point with the end key.
Each repeat of the loop item repeats seamlessly, so I guess solves that
problem of the very long delay tails getting chopped off; if I record an
audio track from only 1 instance of the midi loop item.
With the midi loops repeating throught the length of the song, the VST
synth and its onboard delay will be running; so the delays continue
perfectly in sync; from repeat to repeat of each midi loop.
Now I can record an audio track from the repeating midi loops and cover
the eventual chopping off of the delay tails with a fade down at the end.
Thanks,
Indi
