[RWP] duplicating midi loop in Reaper

I need to duplicate a midi loop dozens of times along the same track.
This midi loop uses the Camel AudioAlchemy Player's effects, and the
delay tail is so long that I can't just take the midi loop, which loops
perfectly while repeats are toggled, and create an audio file from it,
because; without the synth's delay being active for the audio track;
with its delay going; the long delay tails get cut off between repeats
of the audio loop.
So, I think if I duplicate the midi loop and string the loops out along
the track the length of my song, I can fade the midi track down to
inaudibility at the end, so the horrible glitch when the delay tails
finally get chopped off won't record to the audio track.
So, kindergarten question 1:
How do I duplicate the midi item many times along its track?
Do I select item1, copy it to the clipboard, then paste it in at the
beginning of the measure after the end of midi loop, 1; and paste it
again at the end of loop 2, etcetera, or is there an easier method?
This used to be called appending; in primitive sequencing days; pasting
a copy of a loop onto the end of the loop; over and over; until you
filled out the length of the track.
I remember some sequencers where you just selected append, then selected
the number of times yu wanted to append the loop; then pressed go; and
the job was done.
So, how do I append; or duplicate a midi loop; in Reaper?
Thanks,
Indi
