[RWP] ReaAccess Question.

Hey Indi, I'll try and find Ross's podcast on Cubase. No, please don't get
me wrong, I don't underestimate AHK at all. What I'm saying, until a wider
user base is using it, it's hard to evaluate properly. To my knowledge,
there isn't that many AHK scripts out there. Chris Bell did a set for SD3,
but AHK didn't really need to do anything fancy in there, just clicking
basically. As far as I know Ross has had this programmer for years and no
one has ever done anything near to what he can do. Does this mean it's the
bees and ees? Not necessarily, it just means he's had to spend a vast amount
of money on a personal set of scripts. We could all do that I guess, but
how would the sets perform on other machines...it's all in the air as far as
I'm concerned with AHK. Lets raise the bar a little and get some real life
sets out there for complex plugs. Cheers steve.

Steve, I've got to make more use of Wineyes color attribute detection.
Maybe I can find buttons like the CronoX load samples button that doesn't
speak, or find Absynth 5's morph button.
I just seem to forget that these interfaces are very colorful.
I couldn't agree more about using NVDA.
It's wonderfully speedy for ordinary use, in email, or surfing the web, but
digging into interfaces I go back to Wineyes's numPad actions, which are
like JawsnumPad moves, very detailed.
I feel you're underestimating the power of AHK, though.
Listen to Ross McGregor's podcast on running Cubase with AHK macros.
He's spend thousands for a private programmer, but he runs Cubase slick as
owl grease.
