Well, did you rescan?

And check to see if all your vst's were working correctly?

It just depends on where the system thinks things are, if you re-scanned and any dependancies are going on, and it can't find the files, you might have a mess.

There's no way to know till you try, but the general rule of thumb is to leave the directory structure the way it is,
and let the system find it.

  so what your saying is if i havn't put the dat files with the dll files already just leve things as they are is that correct?
