Reaper on the mac can be useable when you get the hang of it. VO see most everything in the man in window, but due to none of it being in containers it can make navigating a bit cumbersome  at times. Also most the things we will need to access by the keyboard do not have keyboard shortcuts assign by default. I made some to make edit and etc a breeze. Also you will want to grab the SWS extension for reaper which includes a tool called reaconsole which will help elevate some of the navigational headaches caused by not having things in containers. As you get more familiar with it you may also want to set up hotspots or use item chooser to jump to certain things quickly.  Any questions along the way just shoot me a line.  I can get you a keycap file with a lot of the needed keyboard shortcuts added already  but i need to do some documentation for it. Any questions just ask as you explore.
