[RWP] Running 32 bit plugs in Win7 64 with Reaper 64?

Yes, windows 7 does care about audio jacks being plugged in , depending on 
the sound card of course.  In fact, it's probably simply a sound card 
behavior, but it is a increasing trend, now that we have smart jacks, 
whether we want or need them or not. .
When I first got my  64-bit system, it was set up for 5.1 audio output, and 
I didn't know it.  I plugged one cable in to the front jack, to port 
eloquence audio, and no signal was sent out.  I had a hell of a time getting 
speech.  Finally, I figured out that the sound card refused to send audio 
out the front pair, because I didn't also plug something into the back pair, 
etc.  In other words, if you aren't going to plug in all the speakers 
required for the current configuration, we deem that to be inappropriate, 
and none of them will work.   In my opinion, that kind of crap doesn't add 
anything to my party, just creates annoying hassles and disception.
