[RWP] General question concerning accessibility in reaper

Hi,
Reaper is accessible, enough to keep us using it.
It's a shame that ReaAccess hasn't been updated, but that's a dead issue
we can't remedy.
We continue using Reaper with some workArounds, like pressing ctrl+up
arrow a couple of times, then pressing the Applications key to get the
track recording options context menu to display.
The inline midi editing editor quit working, so we switched to another
midi editor within Reaper, which has many more editing options, so that
change actually was a blessing in disguise.
So, the general answer to your question is that access hasn't
dramatically improved or decayed, it's about the same, good enough with
inventive workArounds.
Some of us are sticking with version 3.78, before version 4 and later
caused some things to break, others are using the latest versions.
Reaper itself continues to improve, especially in midi editing, and we
are able to access its midi.

So is there any improvement in accessibility in reaper 4 for windows or for mac? I checked the website and noticed that the rea-access-plugin still is in Version 1.X. Is there an additional resource, a jaws-script for instance, making the current reaper-version accessible for jaws users? Before installing, spending much time in trying and being finally frustrated, I would be very glad about some general information.
