[RWP] Performing actions to a large number of tracks.

NObody has given themselves a 5 fingered discount yet with gear, but man, I sure got stood up with being paid a couple times.
And from folks I wouldn't have expected it at all from,
people supposed to be good friends.
So now we get money up front most of the time atleast part.
This is one reason I tend to use working man's mics when I have a big group,
like 100 dollar dynamics, instead of my really nice mics,
oh, maybe the sound is a little harder to get in some cases, but I won't cry so much if an sm58 takes a walk rather than my sm7, or such, also things can get broken these crazy drummers that knock over mic stands,
and even hit them,
no offense against great drummers, but again, hard to replace stuff.
I hate being paranoid, but one has to in this world these days, and when you can't see, it's so much easier to be taken advantage of.
There's also the issue of bands using bathroom facilities,
and how much access to the rest of the house they have, I try and limit that as much as possible.
So having cool people who respect you and you trust to some extent is how you have to do it, no walk ins, by appointment only, we don't have a sign, or anything to invite walk ins,
I hope some day to have a full blown commercial facility,
so I can take walk ins,
but for now, somewhere in between is where she is.

I had instances in the past where people have stolen from my studio. Fortunately it was only a couple of DVDs.
But ever since then, I am very careful about who I allow in my personal space.
Equipment is not cheap, therefore I don't feel it necessary to go replacing things just because someone feels that they needed more than I do. LOL

I really get a chuckle out of half of the people out here saying how they have a studio, and giving themselves names and whatnot. I to fall into this category. I work from home, and I have clientele. I don't think I need anybody's approval on here or anyone's justification as to what I do with my business.
