[RWP] Strange problem

Okay, here's my situation. I am browsing for plug-ins to scan into reaper. I've started totally fresh, and am now adding folders to be scanned. My problem lies here. when I tap the add button to add a folder to be scanned I am presented with a browser. I know this is normal, but hold on it gets better.
I navigate to local disk C, program files, and then I expand that section of the tree. My screen reader informs me that there are over 100 items on that branch of the tree.
That's cool… Here's what my problem is. I navigate to the native instruments folder and select that one to be added to the scan queue. I click okay and then I click add again to select a second folder. This folder is also under program files. I navigate my browser back to program files once again an expanded. Lo and behold, there is only one item on that branch of the tree now. And that item is native instruments. Where could all of the other folders have gone? There are a couple more folders on that drive that I need to scan for plug-ins. I don't know why reaper is not showing me all of my folders after I select the first one.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
