When I was younger, I had a dream of having a house modified for studio use.

Well, as they say, life is what happens when you're making plans. Now, 
I've resolved myself to be completely mobile: all the time. My studio is 
in my bedroom, living room, on my patio, a coffee shop, in a car going 
down the road, anywhere I am.

My creativity is spurred by the weird places I record. I prefer to 
record drums in real, untreated spaces. The drums for my first album 
were recorded in a bedroom, and this current project, a dining room with 
extremely high ceilings.

I've just come to the conclusion that I don't want to be judged on 
space, gear, what daw I use, etc. I want to be hired on taste. I farm 
out some stuff to other studios, and do other things right here in 
house, or in car, or in wherever. It's how I roll anymore.

I just have lost the desire to compete with anyone else in this space. 
The guy with the 10 Universal audio preamps is gonna win anyway, so why 
not bring something unique to the table.
