Ok, you actually want 7 tracks in this case. Toggle the top most track
to be a folder, it'll exist purely to serve as a folder. I've never
really understood why the folder has to be a blank track and the end
of folder can have stuff on it, but that's the way it works. Try it
that way, and when you pan or tweak the level of that folder track, it
should work on the 6 contained within it.
