I'll take credit for that comment about sound forge, since I made it.
But if I were to ask Patrick, I bet he'd agree in large part 'smile'.

Thanks for the reduced number of keystrokes, Scott.
I wasn't dissing Kevin at any point, I just made the mistake of even
bothering to comment on anyone who hangs out in a Reaper forum hoping to
discourage Reaper users.
I'm more than glad for Kevin's success, and glad Patrick loves Reaper
for audio more than even Sound Forge; and also glad for those who love
Sonar and praise its undoubted merits.
More power to all of us.
We should all celebrate more choice; and not hope to reduce our choices
of daws, right?
